Our Blondell Avenue facility opens soon!

On August 1st, local representatives joined CFH leadership for a special tour of our newest transitional residence.

 

On August 1st, local representatives joined CFH leadership for a special tour of our newest transitional residence that will soon open: the Blondell Avenue shelter. 

Located in the Bronx, this shelter will provide much-needed beds for two hundred New Yorkers experiencing homelessness. Residents will receive comprehensive supportive services, including assistance with housing placement, case management, counseling, and much more. In addition, CFH will operate a New York State-licensed community health center on-site, offering primary and behavioral health care for the residents and the local community. 

President & CEO George Nashak welcomed and thanked theseย representatives for joining us and learning more about the support and services our fellow New Yorkers need to continue on their path to permanent housing and good health.ย

Last year, your donations helped us serve over 9,600 homeless men,women and children and support over 36,900 health center visits.
